Hi everyone. It’s me… Stressball 🙂 I can’t remember feeling this stressed. Let me say, though, I’m not totally complaining. I have never been busier at work, and I have my own wedding to plan, which I’m loving! We have chosen a wedding venue… The Oxford Exchange in Tampa:
It’s so beautiful as is! I bought a dress, sorry no pictures until after. I have shoes:
I am in the process of working on a menu.
I know what kind of cake I want, just have to meet with the bakery for a tasting.
I have a photographer booked. The amazing Ashley at Ashfall Mixed Media.
I’m working on music, haven’t figured that out yet.
I know the style of bouquet I want, and that will be the only flowers involved.
The venue is so beautiful, it doesn’t need any decor or centerpieces.
I’m looking at some hotels for out-of-town guests.
I have found my invitations but am waiting on more details such as menu and ceremony time to order those.
I have decided not to do a rehearsal dinner, but rather share an intimate dinner with just Matt and I the night before. I know we won’t see each other on our wedding day until I walk down the aisle, and the reception will be spent having a blast with our loved ones, so I’m so excited to have that special time with just him the night before. This makes me very happy 🙂
I have figured out our favors, just have to order them when we get closer.
Honeymoon plans have begun, anyone know of a good travel agent?
I guess I’m on track, but it seems like I should be farther along for some reason. Maybe because as a wedding planner, I know all the little details up front that need to be planned, and I feel like they should already be done.
In the meantime, beautiful weddings keep happening before my eyes. Last weekend we had a pretty black, white and red wedding on Friday:
And a peach and ivory beauty on Saturday:
Sunday we did not have a wedding, which will be my last weekend day off until Easter. We made it special with brunch at Jackson’s (also wanted to check it out as an option for our post wedding brunch). My sister had her post wedding brunch there and it was just a delicious as I remember. I stuffed myself silly with 3 plates and 2 mimosas:
Amazing! The views were great as well, although a little cloudy, still beautiful on the river:
We also were able to check out a local art show:
A nice long nap followed. Great way to spend my last Sunday off for a while 🙂 And just for fun,
these are the kinds of things Matt and I like to do when we’re relaxing:
